Challenge
Design a poster that captures the awkward aura of the Bat Boy phenomenon created by sensationalistic supermarket tabloids.

Solution
The large field of red coupled with the “disturbing” photograph creates an unnerving air. The black and white photograph invokes a supermarket tabloid feel. The face gives off a diffused yellow halo creating a sense of the supernatural. Word balloons further enforce the tabloid sensibility. Bat Boy is visually yelling the call-to-action creating an auditory layer to the composition.
